Lisbonlaw emerged from its partners’ desire to initiate a project in the area of law and legal consulting, distinguished by its close client relationship, quick response, and practical solutions to concrete problems. It strives daily to make a difference, always maintaining a rigorous commitment to its clients.
Lisbonlaw benefits from the accumulated experience of its partners, who for over 10 years worked in large law firms in Portugal and abroad.
Today, Lisbonlaw is already a permanent consultant to several economic groups and companies in various sectors, standing out not only for its technical competence and rigor, but also for its practical approach, resulting from the business culture acquired by its lawyers. It operates on a partnership basis, aiming to understand and embrace the objectives and ambitions of its clients.
Team
Vicente Falcão e Cunha
Practices in the areas of Corporate Law, M&A, and Energy Law.
Graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Portugal in 2004, he has been a member of the Brazilian Bar Association since 2009. He completed a postgraduate degree in Business Management at the Getúlio Vargas Foundation in Rio de Janeiro in 2009.
He worked as a lawyer (between 2009 and 2012) at Simmons & Simmons Rebelo de Sousa, in the areas of Administrative Law, Competition Law, Environment, and Energy Law. He also worked at Veirano Advogados (between 2008 and 2009) in Rio de Janeiro, in the departments of Commercial Law, Competition Law, Infrastructure, and Energy Law.
In 2015, he started the Lisbonlaw project.

Pedro Guerreiro
He practices in the areas of Real Estate and Construction Law and Immigration.
He graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Portugal in 2005 and has been a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2008.
He worked as a trainee lawyer (between 2005 and 2008) and lawyer (between 2008 and 2016) at PLMJ – Sociedade de Advogados, in the area of Real Estate Law.
In 2016 he joined Lisbonlaw.

Joaquim Pedro Torres
He practices in the areas of Labor and Social Security Law.
He graduated in Law from the Nova University of Lisbon in 2005 and has been a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2008. In 2009, he completed a Postgraduate Degree in Labor Law at the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Portugal.
He worked as a trainee lawyer (between 2005 and 2008) and lawyer (between 2008 and 2016) at PLMJ – Sociedade de Advogados, in the areas of Labor and Financial Law.
In 2016 he joined Lisbonlaw.

Eduardo Finamore Correia
He practices in the areas of Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Health Law, Biological Sciences, and Pharmaceutical Law.
He graduated in Law from the Nova University of Lisbon in 2004 and has been a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2006. He completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon in 2005, a Postgraduate Diploma in Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Portugal in 2010, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Economics and Law of Health and Medicines at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon in 2021.
He worked as a trainee lawyer (between 2004 and 2006) and lawyer (between 2007 and 2021) at PLMJ – Sociedade de Advogados, in the areas of Corporate Law and Health, Life Sciences, and Pharmaceutical Law. He also served as Legal Counsel (on secondment) at a multinational pharmaceutical company (between 2016 and 2019).
In 2021 he joined Lisbonlaw.

Pedro Vaz de Almada
He practices in the areas of Litigation, Pre-Litigation and Arbitration.
He graduated in Law from Nova University of Lisbon in 2010 and has been a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2013. He completed a Master’s degree in Business Law from the same institution in 2012. He is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Arbitration Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
He worked as a trainee lawyer (between 2011 and 2013) and lawyer (between 2013 and 2017) at VdA – Vieira de Almeida e Associados, in the areas of Litigation & Arbitration and Telecommunications, Media & Information Technologies.
He worked as Legal & Business Affairs Manager at Novartis Portugal (between 2018 and 2024), where he was Litigation Manager. During this period he also completed an assignment in the Novartis Global (Switzerland) department responsible for processes with the greatest impact on the group in different legal systems. He was also a member of the Supervisory Board of Novartis Portugal.
In 2025 he joined Lisbonlaw.

Joana Baeta Vieira
Works in the areas of Health Law, Biological and Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Labor Law.
She graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Portugal in 2011 and has been a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2016.
In 2013, she completed a Postgraduate Degree in Law and Management at the Catholic University of Portugal, in Lisbon and Rio de Janeiro.
In 2017, she completed a Postgraduate Degree in Pharmaceutical Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, and in 2021, she attended a Postgraduate Degree in Economics and Law of Health and Medicine at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
She worked as a trainee lawyer (between 2013 and 2016) and lawyer (between 2016 and 2023) at PLMJ – Sociedade de Advogados, in the areas of Health Law, Biological Sciences and Pharmaceutical Law.
She was Legal Counsel (on secondment) at a multinational pharmaceutical company (between 2018 and 2021).

Mafalda Portugal Faria
She practices in the areas of Labor Law and Social Security.
She graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Portugal in 2014, completed her Master’s degree in Administrative Law in 2016 at the same University, and has been a member of the Bar Association since 2017.
She worked as a trainee lawyer (between 2014 and 2017) at AAMM – Sociedade de Advogados, in the Public Law practice area, and as a lawyer (between 2017 and 2018) at AVA – Anselmo Vaz, Afra & Associados, and (between 2018 and 2020) at Andersen Tax & Legal, mainly practicing in the areas of Labor Law and Social Security Labor Law.

Rita Faria Fernandes
Practices in the areas of Corporate and Real Estate Law.
Graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon in 2013, she has been a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2018.
She worked as a trainee lawyer (between 2013 and 2014) at the National Railway Network, REFER E.P.E., in the area of Public Law, and as a trainee lawyer (between 2014 and 2018) and as a lawyer (between 2018 and 2023) at Maria José Verde, Filipe Vieira & Associados, in the areas of Corporate Law, Real Estate Law and Litigation.

Mariana Carrilho
Works in the areas of Corporate Law and M&A.
She graduated in Law from the Lusíada University of Lisbon in 2015, completed her Master’s degree in Criminal Law in 2018 at the same University, and has been a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2021.

Raquel Henriques Santos
Graduated in Law from the Lusíada University of Lisbon in 2015, she completed a Master’s degree in Forensic Law and Arbitration at the Faculty of Law of the Nova University of Lisbon, and has been a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2021.
In 2023 she joined Lisbonlaw.

Luís Almeida Brito
He works in the areas of Corporate Law, Commercial Law and M&A.
He graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra in 2014, completed a Master’s degree in Forensic Legal Sciences in 2016 at the same University, and has been a member of the Bar Association since 2023. He worked as a trainee lawyer (between 2016 and 2020) at SRS Advogados and as a consultant and lawyer (between 2021 and 2024) at RFF Lawyers, in the areas of Corporate Law, Commercial Law and M&A and Real Estate Law.
He also worked as a consultant in the International Tax & Transaction Services department at Ernst & Young (between 2020 and 2021).

Rui Murta
He practices in the areas of Labor and Social Security Law.
He graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon in 2014 and completed a Master’s degree in Forensic Law at the Catholic University of Portugal in 2018.
He has been a member of the Brazilian Bar Association since 2021.
He worked as a trainee lawyer at SPS Advogados and as a lawyer, in the labor law practice area, at PACCV – Sociedade de Advogados and Jardim Sampaio e Associado.

Ana Sofia M. Teixeira
She practices in the area of Corporate Law.
She graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Portugal in 2021 and completed her LL.M in Globalisation and Law, specializing in Corporate and Commercial Law, at Maastricht University in the Netherlands in 2022.
She has been a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2025.
She worked as a trainee (between March and July 2021) at Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão e Associados and as a trainee lawyer (between 2023 and 2025) at TELLES, in the areas of Corporate, M&A and Private Equity.

Bernardo Rocha Ferreira
Bernardo focus his practice on Real Estate Law, Corporate Law and Civil and Commercial Litigation.
He has a degree in Law granted by Universidade de Lisboa in 2014, completed his Master’s Degree in Corporate Law in 2016 at the same University, and is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2017.
In 2019 he concluded a Post-Graduation in Sports Law at Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
Bernardo worked as a trainee lawyer (between 2016 and 2017) and as a lawyer (between 2017 and 2018) at SMCA – Morais Cardoso, Sousa Moniz & Associados and (between 2018 and 2020) at NSM – Nuno Sousa Moniz & Associados, practicing in the Corporate Real Estate, Litigation and Immigration legal areas.
In 2020 he joined LISBONLAW, currently acting as Consultant.
